Largest Hamlet in the World

Did you know? Alberta is home to the largest hamlet in the world, Sherwood Park. A Hamlet is the smallest established community with at least 5 or more dwellings with a population usually under 300 people. Sherwood Park has maintained its status as largest hamlet in the world in the Guinness world records. There are approximately 397 hamlets across Alberta with Fort McMurray being the second largest hamlet in Alberta.
