City of Edmonton Flood Risk Mitigation Study

Long term drainage planning and stormwater management is essential to prevent flooding and protect our infrastructure including our homes and businesses.  EPCOR recently conducted a city-wide flood mitigation study for Edmonton which mostly focused on older Edmonton neighbourhoods designed before 1981.

Over the next few decades, the City of Edmonton intends to implement some risk mitigation strategies to reduce the high risk flood impacted area in Edmonton.  Some of those strategies may include overland drainage routes, new stormwater management dry ponds and underground storage tunnels and sewers.  Bolson Engineering can implement individual strategies for residential, commercial and industrial land owners to help reduce your risk of future flooding.
