Dry Ponds

Have you seen those large low lying grassy areas around the city? They are dry ponds! They are meant to hold water after a rainfall event before it flows into a nearby stream. Dry ponds are designed to reduce erosion and increase the quality of the water runoff. They are nearly as effective as regular ponds and potentially more cost effective.
