Domtar Soil Contamination Site

The increasing importance of a Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments has become more clear with the recent news of residents living in Domtar in North East Edmonton. The site was a former wood treatment plant.  This case is probably far more complicated than what is written in this news article.   Now the developer is going to have to remediate which is very expensive.  It definitely pays to know your risk.
